Reverend Sister Hubert Marie                                   

(1989 - 1996)


              The Reverend Sister Hubert Marie joined Holy Family Convent in 1982 as it's Vice Principal. During the seven years prior to her appointment as the Principal, she taught Economics and Religious Knowledge in school and was in charge of the Advanced Level classes.

 

            She was a popular teacher and moved closely with the students during this period of time. She strived hard to develop the leadership qualities and instilled in certain values that had helped the students in their adult life. She was also in charge of the Y C S and the legion of Mary.

 

She was appointed the fifth principal of the school in 1989. She strived to give an integral education to all the students and she made a great effort to inculcate the values of the Holy Family Unity, Simplicity and Fraternity among the students. She moved closely with the students, teachers and past pupils and was in charge of celebrating the Diamond Jubilee in year 1995. She published a sourvenir called "Reflections", in commemorating the Diamond Jubilee of the school. This contained tributes to Past Principals, Co-curricular Activities, Aesthetic Activities, Sports, Pictorial Guide, Jubilee Songs and the Journal. She left Holy Family Convent in the year 1996. The school appreciates the invaluable service and guidance led by her to all the students and teachers.
